History

Rixy Racing

Peters racing career commenced in 1975 at Wells Harbour, sharing a Mercury powered stock outboard with current rear-commodore Bob Overment.

From Propriders... to Hydrocats.
 From Propriders... to Hydrocats.

The driving force behind the hydro category at Oulton Broad, Peter was responsible for introducing and maintaining the Yamato training boat, which has proved a big success and introduced many novice drivers to the world of powerboat racing.

His knowledge of König engines keeps him busy in the workshop maintaining a fleet of outfits competing in the colours of Rixy Racing, and is currently developing his own 250cc power unit.

For the past two seasons, Peter has campaigned one of the few Hydrocats seen on the British circuit, and his love affair with Oulton Broad recently prompted a move to within a few yards of his beloved circuit.
